This Scares Me To Death-

Ok, I will admit it. I have been a bit stuck for the last couple of weeks. You see, it is almost time for my ‘next big thing’ and frankly, it scares me (more about that in a minute)

Gathering results from Iraq Dinar investors over the last 5 years has been a lot of fun. The major concerns of the average investor has really changed in a few short years.  The questions I get asked mostly today are widely different than questions I got asked in 2004,05, 06, and even 07. Violence is down big time, that’s not what scares me though.

Everybody I’ve talked to among my personal relationships and strong business relationships keeps pushing me to ‘get it over’ and just go ahead and open the members site.

We are a unique group and although the blog will remain with new posts weekly, our community really needs a place to call home.

But this is something that’s going to require a huge amount of work for me – which is what scares me… And which is why I’m only 80% sure I’m going to do it.

I’m not going to give you all the details until I’m sure it’s a ’Go’, but I will say this – it’s going to revolve around what I really love to do – dig deeper into the truth about an upcoming revaluation and educating people about it. If it’s going to be a ‘Go’ it will happen very quickly.

Anyhow, here is the report I promised you…

    Darren,

I appreciate the information you have given to us. Keep up the good work. I understand your concern about running a membership website. Im sure it is very time consuming. Here are my two cents. I would not do it unless the membership site is different than all the rest (InvestorsIraq, DR, DS, etc…) These sites dont deliver anything positive for me and there is way too much negativity amoung the members.

I have been “lurking” on those websites from the start. My conclusion is not one person knows what is going to happen. Dont get me wrong, there appear to be some (very few) good knowledgable people that post facts. But then the opinions start rolling in that makes posting the facts frustrating. Dont even get me started on all the rumors.

I dont visit these websites as much as I use to. The web delivers all the info I need without all the durogatory comments. Not sure how you would structure it, but it needs to be different than whats available now. Thats just my two cents. If you started the website, I would use it. The info you have given us over the past several years seems to be more factual than what has been posted on any other private site. Again, thanks for all your efforts. Good luck.

  2. Dan, I really appreciate your detailed feedback. I agree, I have been to some of the other Dinar membership sites and the negative gets to me. I want to have more control over an online community we can enjoy where no one has to worry about getting flamed.

A membership designed with the members in mind is #1. I have an idea how to accomplish just that too. There could be a feedback form in the members area. Asking what we could do to make each page better. What could be added, what should be taken out. Feedback and acting on feedback is crucial I think.

Thank you again Dan, it’s encouraging. It can be different, totally different, I think it’s possible.

    Darren

    The report was terrific.

Some of the responses seem to be the same whining impatience all over again. You do a good job of holding hands and brow wiping. Membership may be more of the same for your!

The information provided is as good as it gets until the actually reval. comes.

    Thanks for a great job!

  4. Excellent report – thank you, Darren. The IQD community you run here is like you are our very best buddy; I love it and feel you are indeed my ‘mate’ (Aussie for buddy).

I understand your “scares me to death” sentiment to express the buzz as the ‘go’ is on the horizon. Interesting times for sure.

    Sincerely.

  5. Stan, thanks, thats funny. (maybe It shouldn’t be??) Suzanne, I think the meaning of ‘mate’ is known around the world since the movie Crocodile Dundee. The encouragement is really nice, time for another all nighter on the computer.

Two and a half years ago the main focus in Iraq was getting a handle on the violence. Today, the focus has went to political affairs and the Hydrocarbon Law. I believe growth in oil revenue in Iraq will occur very quickly in an exponential fashion in the near future. This also coincides with my anticipation that world oil prices will be going up up and away too.
