Seems to be an ongoing trend where the Iraq Government is working oil export into the deals with countries they owe money to from the former Saddam Government.

Currently, I’m in the process of building another Iraq News blog, it will be different than this blog and will specialize in covering news not directly related to Iraq Dinar.

Hello all and thanks for the great news on the ID. I recently left Iraq/Kuwait where I worked for 5+ years. I have the same concern about the RV that I have had for years, since I boutht some there. I believe that Iraq is still an “occupied country”, giving the last of the decision that are made to be agreed to by the “occuping force”, and I think that would be the leaders of American and England.(?) There again I believe that those Governments are basically being held responsible to very large corporation who are making a lot of money in Iraq and the Arabic Penninsula. I pretty much think that the RV will revolve around when these large companies are porced to downsize and except that they have enough proffit on the war there and are ready to leave. This will be done by the publics outcry of America and England. It is pretty hard to ever see a red faced CEO of a real big corporation because of a mutieny of employees, possibly due to the fact that they have a bunch of economic value in their travel bags, ID in cash. Iraq is not a nice place to hang out if you are not a local. And a RV of the ID will cause a mass exodice, job or not, a lot of key people, that the US Army relies on will leave as soon as they feel thay have enough cash to enjoy life somewhere else.
I do see focres working in that direction, but not completed very soon.

Jenn all those guys info line up together because they all know eachother. They all got to know eachother about a month ago.Now all there info all seems to support the others in some way.I like frank he put alot of thought into his.Med is just nutts he just gave a new rate saying at or near the euro. But in afew days when it doesn’t pan out he will tell us he has never said a rate or date.Again………….
But I do feel it could happen at any time there is so much going on these days I just don’t think these guys have any idea really.

I know that everyone will have their own opinion on this, and I respect that. Me, and my hubby….we think we are CLOSE!

  8. Blackdog says:

There was a nice fella, back in 2004 in Iraq made a change in his life. He quit his great but dangerous job and went back to the States and slod the farm or house as it might be, to buy ID. He was sure that at any day the Iraq Government would support their currency, as rightly they should. This move would bring a lot of support from the people back to the Government, which they have needed badly. I think this nice guy is still waiting for the RV but has turned his time into selling his ID and buying more. Maybe a nice trade off.

  9. Jennofer says:

Blackdog>sooooooo. Are you saying…….don’t bet the farm on this? Or is this a true story? If it is true, I feel for him. 6 years waiting…must have been difficult. Do you not have faith that Iraq is going to bounce back and have currency that has a good value? How long have you been holding on to your dinar? I just have this feeling that you do not see this happening.

  10. Blackdog says:

Oh Yea Jen, I bought a bunch the same time our nice guy bought his, but he started thinking that the million ID in his hands was, well a million can make people think strangely, million of any money feels good in the hands. I think he kind of lost it a little and went home to sell everything he could to buy more. I did buy most every year I was there with what was really “disposable cash” to me. Either way it is no big loss to me, but I do believe that Iraq will be a power of the future, there is just too much there: oil, gas, ag, religious tourism, minerals, gems and a very large and hungry work force.
But I do think that Iraq is still an Occupies Cuntry which would also say that they (the Iraq Government) to not have the last say on a lot of final Governmental decisions. America and England have a lot of favors to pay off to the real big corporations that went in quickly to help out their military mission and they have been making big bucks in Iraq, so I think they have the last call. These big corporations will not have a mass bail out of most of their employees because of an ID RV, and I think they are holding the strings.
I believe it was in June of 06 that the Finance Minister had an open door meeting with the Chairman of the Central Bank of Iraq. His main topic on the agenda was RV the ID and all the bennifits it would bring the standing Government and how at present they could suely do that by pegging one to one with the US dollar. Why did this not happen? I was in Baghdad when this meeting happened, but did not go of course, but we sure heard about it. If they were allowed to support their own currence, the day after you could not even find a plane seat to steal, and the military would be in a very big fix without 99% of the contractors.

  11. Joe says:

Blackdog that makes alot of sence to me.When I got into this 5 years ago I said it won’t happen til our troops are out.But I never thought of it like that.On the other hand that would open a ton of jobs for the iraqis.

  12. Jennofer says:

Well, I guess American Contractor is NOW saying it isn’t going to happen in February, again…so what I think we (my husband and I) are going to do is….I don’t think we would see anything happen over the week-end anyway….so we are going to salvage what is left of my vacation and go away until Sunday evening. Got reservations for us and my Jack Russell will be spending the week-end with another Jack Russell in a doggie daycare. Got to get my face out of this for a couple of days. I have to be back to work Sunday for the superbowl>>>GO COLTS<<< My husband and I are HOOSIERS, OURSELVES. I hope they KICK THEIR BUTTS for their dirty low shots they took on the Vikings! Oh, I won't get started on that! Anyway, where I was going with my point is that after work on Sunday, I will see what is going on in here and all of you have a great week-end!

  13. Jennofer says:

Going away until Sunday night. Have a great week-end! Hope I come back to a RV! If not, well, I guess I will wait, and wait, and wait…as long as it takes. I knew this when I went into this investment. I bought for the first time in November and those 35% taxes don’t set good with me anyway so I am good with what ever happens. I SEE IT COMING THOUGH!!!!! Gotta take the good with the bad! >>GO COLTS<<

Count me in on the call – we are having 20 – 30 inches of snow tonight

  17. Blackdog says:

Yea Joe, It is unfortunate that the Iraqi have had a pretty much failed education system for a very long time. People can be taught not to learn, at least the regimented stuff, just by it not being available. Most Iraqi I have meet are smart enough but just very little education, very big difference between ignorant and stupid. I think the whole stated mission in Iraq was to bring what we think is a normalcy to the country. Where they have a low unemployment rate and basically a better lifestyle, possibly a democracy of sort. Now again I think that America doesn’t want the rest of the world to think they went in and stirred up the fire only to leave before it is within control.
There would be nothing I can think of that would stimulate the Iraqi economy more than an RV of their currency. So that is why I think that the Iraqi Government would very much like to do that.

  18. Trent says:

It looks like from what I’m seeing that we are once again looking at the RV after the election, after Ch. 7 is lifted and after the hydrocarbon law is passed.

  19. Trent says:

Looks like they’re starting that b.s. about loping three zero’s again. Comments anyone?

  20. Trent, I got podcasts on itunes about that.

Our call is not happening today, reason why is I never made it back to my office. Don’t be dissapointed we will have several calls this month in the very near future.

  21. Trent says:

Thanks Darren, you have always said, revaluation, not devaluation. That’s good to know. Thanks again.

  22. bubbajr says:

    Trent to answer you ?

    1. They can not Lop …. the inflation rate is to low… Iraq is sitting at 4 to 5 percent.

2 The only countries that I have seen do a Lop is Iran and Zimbabwe and their Inflation rate was between 30% and 90%.

So please do not think of Iraq is going to do one!!!!

  23. I’ve been investigating this ’source’ that was observed and reported on a major blog and all I can tell you is who ever wrote the article about zero lopping on the European blog rferl.org is extremely misleading primarily the headline. Not only that, the article makes no sense.

Yes it is true that smaller denominations will be created by CBI but who ever wrote this article cranked up the crap factor and paid about $200 to $500 to have this Press Release plastered all over the Internet. It looks like a ploy to scare investors into selling dinar back to the dealers for profits, or, just someone who is not speaking from a position of authority, who don’t know Dinar and current events. Making stuff up for a spicy bull s–t headline.

I will be disecting this article (which link I won’t put) on our next podcast.

Lastly, for proof that this is total crap.

-The CBI connection quoted in the article, the mans name is no where on the Internet (crap)
-Why would the CBI create new banknotes with 3 less zeros and make the old notes and the new notes the same exact value, kind of defeats the purpose of creating new notes (crap)
-The CBI would have the kiss an RV goodbye as what is described in the article is a DEVALUATION (crap)
-There is absolutely no other source on the Internet reporting this information, so they created it. (crap)
-If CBI wanted to permit people to carry less banknotes to the bank, as reported in the article, why on earth would CBI create the EXACT SAME amount of notes, but with less zeros. Thats the poorest excuse for a lopping I’ve ever seen. Not even believable. (crap)
