This video is where my mindset is on the dinar. Oil rich Iraq Dinar banknotes here we go.
Be mindful to the most likely ‘broke’ professor near the end of the video talking down the dinar. He talks like someone who lives with a ‘capped’ income.
Speaking to the high risk takers, invest what you can afford if you want dinar. And to those who can’t tolerate risk, it may not be for you. But to tell everyone to not do it no matter what, is just plain bad advice.
Yes I think Maliki would be the best choice. I was hoping that Darren would give us an update on the Hydrocarbon Law.
So far, Maliki seems to be ahead in the polls. The other party wants a recount because they think it is a fixed election. I kind of figured it would go down that way. What I am watching is what the CBI and IMF are doing. They are coming out with this news of a T-BILL and other (in country) as well as INTERNATIONAL plans with their currency. It seems to fall in line with “wanting to be internationally recognized.” If you go to a sports car auction, do you want to look at a run down pinto? Well, IMO, Iraq wants to play with the big boys with their currency so……they are going to have to bring a currency with a nice value to it in order to play!
Maliki, himself, said he wanted to be “internationally recognized” and it has been stated over and over again in the past months that the “value of the dinar” needs to be revalued. Maliki said he wanted a currency “above all else.” The talks are there…and there were a lot of things moving really fast before the elections. The CBI has things in the works and the IMF is right in there with them. Maliki is worried about the elections at this point and not much other than that. Think about it this way. ARE THEY GETTING ANYWHERE AT ALL WITH THE VALUE OF THEIR CURRENCY NOW? They know they need to do something with it, they said it is “overdue.” Also, when they do revalue their currency, they need to introduce the lower notes to be able to make change for people.
The L_P stories you all see….hogwash. They come out yearly or sometimes more frequent….maybe to discourage us foreign investors. They word those articles to confuse Americans and other countries that can’t figure it out. It leaves doubt in potentually “new investors” as well as discourages the ones that have invested so maybe the buying of the dinar will slow down on our end. Have you ever noticed that the Iraq dinar does not get much attention here in the U.S.? Well, JMO, when they become internationally recognized, and that is what they are pushing HARD FOR…the Iraqi dinar is going to be the “talk of the town” and there are going to be so many nae- sayers out there that will be kicking themselves in the bottom for not believing and when this happens….it will be to late for them. ” A day late and a dinar short.” Just keep watching the CBI and IMF. We may see some movement when the talks start again about the Chapter 7 and things pertaining to Iraq in general. Right now, it is all about the elections…boring!! I think, not sure on this one, that part of the budget comes out soon??? Does anyone know anything about that? I thought it came out on the first? I see some of the gurus saying the 15th of March? Wasn’t the Hydrocarbon Law suppose to be somewhere in that? I know that some of the voting on some of the laws in the 2010 budget were left to the “new parliament” to vote into law or something to that effect…maybe part of the Hydrocarbon Law was in that. I think the $1 for each barrel of oil to the Iraq citizens in that area of where the oil was sold has something to do with that? Not completely sure though. Anyway, don’t pay as close attention to what they say….watch what they do! They tend to say one thing and do another. It is slow with the elections…enjoy your family…take a clean break and grab a breath of fresh spring air and gear up for a RV this year!! JMO!
Well, the election is over, rumor has it that a reval will happen day after tomorrow.
Gary>I have said it before and I will say it again…it is just a few days away…we will see. Don’t bet the farm on it though, I have seen these “rumors” come and go. One of these rumors will come true, eventually, but keep your posture with the pumpers “feeders” and don’t go buy more dinar off of a “rumor.” The bank stories have died down…I have noticed…I am hoping that people got the message on those “rumors.” I, myself, will continue to buy until this happens. On my budget and my time in this. No matter, I would be overjoyed if it does happen Sunday! If it doesn’t and my budget says that I can “afford” more….I will buy. I believe in this investment but I also choose to use my head and not buy on weekly predictions and rumors. Take the rumors for what they are. RUMORS!

The comparison that the Iraqi’s don’t want to go to a classic car show trying to impress the big boys with a pinto puts it in perspective.
I have recently opened up a Warka account and funded the account yesterday so I won’t hear until next week how that will actually work out.
Unless the reval happens before then it won’t matter much anyway because I think I will be winning with both options.
By the way if my financial situation was better I would be loading up on the Iraqi coins valued at 100 and 25 dinar. That for certain should cover all the bases. A roll of twenty 100 dinar coins cost as little as 80 dollars.
From that angle you should be able to sit on them until you get 3 dollars for each dinar, because I don’t think they can phase out the coins in the like they could their currency. For example, ALL USD coins from any date hold at the very least their original value. Just another angle that few have thought about.

Understandable, but if you find a source by all means let us know what you find out. In any event if this reval happens anytime soon none of that will matter. Let’s hope the long wait will be over soon. I have been a dinar holder since 2004.
I have to admit, the CNN “rumor” got me excited! It has not been debunked as of yet but I am cautiously optimistic on this. With it coming from Franks site, I will respectfully sit tight and see how it pans out. Many claim to have seen it “with their own eyes” so my ears are open to it. If it turns out to be false, I won’t blame Frank, I respect the man and what he does. Thank God…I have the week-end off! I can sit tight and see if any of this actually unfolds. There are a lot of things going on with the IMF and CBI and we are getting tidbits of it. I keep wondering about these T-bills they are talking about and I think that there is something to that…but can’t quite put my finger on it! And “international” keeps ringing in my head. A lot of countries came forward…right before elections…and stressed that they were willing to see Iraq out from under Chapter 7. Then, the elections hit…and who knows what has happened or what is going on. We are getting very little from there in their articles at this point. All the “plans” coming from the IMF and CBI and the fact that the 2010 budget has to surface “eventually” just makes me wonder what is REALLY going on. Plus, I remember reading a statistics report saying that most countries that revalue their currency do it right after an election. It said that some do it just before to, but since we are past that, no point in worrying about that part. I am just trying to see what fits here. What could be holding this thing up?

I, personally, like the “international” part. I give that a high five! ALL else has to fall into place…but when? Maliki is back to work, even though he has stomach problems and had to be hospitalized for it and it looks as though he is planning to be there a few more years so hopefully, {if this does not pan out on Sunday} we will start seeing things happen as they get “back to business.” I like what I see with the movement with the IMF and CBI…they are the ones I am watching, more so, than anything.
Just saw on CNN that votes are still being counted and Maliki is in the lead.
According to Enorrste on DDT the RV has happened and should be announce late tonight or Monday. His source says some people with KBR can quite now and go home because of this. Naturally he can not reveal his source. We’ll see but I have a feeling we’ll all still be at work next week. Thank you have a wonderful day.

Thats a good one Jim. Yes today was suposed to be the big day and their Sunday is almost over now. Well maybe tomorrow will be the Big Day and if not tomorrow maybe the 18th……..the next Big Day.
I didn’t get my hopes up on today. I have learned to not do that anymore because it makes for a “real bad day” when it comes and goes. Instead, I just keep my eye on the articles and watch for news there. There will be articles coming out about the Chapter 7. I think that is real close, if not history, and not announced yet. So many countries were stepping up to the plate to knock that Chapter 7 thing out of the ball park right before elections! Things are just stalled because of the elections and I wish that they would get “a move on, already” with that! The CBI is coming out with things for us to chew on and I watch for that word “INTERNATIONAL” to be mentioned. I like that word!!! The gurus…entertainment! I buy in to ~nothing~they say. It is no more than someones personal opinion of a “window of opportunity” and it gives us something to look at, respectively, but all of the “it will happen on this date” kind of turns my stomach. Just keep watching the articles. I think we are close.
Well the only good news I have seen was on that kellys blog.There were 2 articles on there yesterday about the lop rumor and they both said they are not going to LOP. One of them Shibi said there will not do that.Shibi is the man with all the power if he said it,it will not be LOPPED.Thank god for that.I have not seen anything from cnn but I will look if I find anything I will share it.

I am watching Bloomburg and Maliki is ahead in the polls. They are getting recognition…so that is good. Nothing on any of us being happy though???? Hey, you have to give the pumpers this much….it wasn’t a BANK STORY this time!!!LOL! They will take these things to any level and I realize that more and more, everyday. I just feel sorry for Frank because it was posted on the christian site….one of the most vulnerable sites out there. Who would doubt it …coming from there? I didn’t. But I know that no site is safe from pumpers…now. Pacster played that Christian card…and I am NOT DOUBTING HIS RELIGION OR FAITH…but he sure takes some LOW BLOWS at people to be such a “christian stand up guy.” And he works for the Government? NOT! I see him post on DD day, night, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT…I caught him myself! Anyone that works for the Government has a very important role in the community and actually >sleeps< in order to do so. That one, I don't buy..so I wonder…and nothing more…what else he is fibbing about and what his motive is to play such negative in this investment. I try to pay no attention to him, but sometimes, I read without seeing who posts and get caught up in his "trash."

THEY SAID THAT I WAS GOING BACK ON WHAT I SAID AND THAT I WAS WRONG ABOUT…WHATEVER, I DON’T KNOW…AND HAD ME DIRECTLY ATTACKING SOMEONE ELSES COMMENT! FOR STARTERS, I DON’T DEGRADE ANYBODYS COMMENTS…NOT EVEN PACSTERS…AND THAT JUST PI**ES ME OFF! I PROBABLY GOT BANNED FOR WHATEVER SOMEONE ELSE JUST DID TO ME TONIGHT! WE ARE NOT SAFE IN THAT SITE, EVIDENTLY.
I sent a letter to Dinar Daddy and told him about the 25th comment on Adams post and I also said that I would never be commenting in there again. It is being over run by the pacsters out there and I really think it was him or his many e-mail addresses that he put my name on. He is the only one I disagree with in there. He has been kicked out of other sites for his negativity and the way he forces his opinion on the L_P factor and Dinar Daddy allows it so he is protecting his last and only turf. JMO. I just don’t know who else it could be? It does not matter though, although, I don’t want anyone mislead by something I DID NOT SAY! I am normally such a private person, I don’t have a social group of people I hang with, my husband and I are quite the loaners, actually, and we keep to ourselves 95% of the time and to be attacked like that makes me feel so….violated of my privacy! Just be careful in there if you post anything…someone may not like it and you and words in your mouth that you did not say will be plastered as a comment and you will not even see it coming. I just hope that Dinar Daddy looks up the e-mail address that the comment was made from and ban them so they cannot do this to someone else. I am a big girl, and I will get over it. Well, Dinar Daddy responded to my e-mail. He apologized and said that he did not know what happened but if I want to pay to get into his site from now on, I can be assured that it will not happen again. I guess I will be taking THAT site out of “my favorites.”

Nothing against the move he made, in all honesty, he will weed out the trouble makers…but he will also lose many others that will go elsewhere for the same things like Stardoggers site that is free. And DD gets the same posts that Stardogger gets. Once that gets out, all will flock there and he, to, will eventually have to expand and start charging. I guess it is all about how bad you want the drama in your life as to how far you will go…or pay…for it. I invested in currency and if I buy anything, it will be more dinar. I don’t need anyone to babysit my investment and keep me posted on it. I will stick close to Bubbajr and get my updates here, as well. This is a great site with many things posted that are of importance to our investment and don’t be surprised if you see quite a few new names in here, as well. It is going to be interesting to see where they all go. I just wish this would RV and we can be done with it, all together. Time to regroup, I guess.
Jennofer I completely agree with you. It really is sad when you get charged for wanting to be on a post. Plus all the garage that certain people want to put on it. It really is GREAT that Darren is not like that and is willing to help everyone with information and hopefully will keep us posted. We can find information on our own if we just look. Everyone is starting to charge if yo want to be on there sites.The pumpers put stuff out to get everyone to sign up and when it fills up they want cash for what was free yesterday.
I appreciated the fact that on the Mastermind Call, when the question was put to Darren what he thought the dinar would rv at, he said, maybe 1 cent. Not necessarily what you want to hear, but, does not mislead either. I can respect that and also we’re not confused by endless adviretisements here at DrDinar…..with all that said, we will now when the rv happens….CBI, Forex, CNN……

He wouldn’t last five seconds on there! Stardogger also has a live chat that I watch sometimes and learn things I did not know from time to time. Stardogger will overload with new people and he will have to start charging to. It is a matter of time. I am never going to pay to get a heartache by the misinformation out there. As long as it is “free” entertainment…I will look and laugh, I guess. Like I said before, I am watching CBI and IMF movements anyway and curious what other people are thinking. I will never pay to see what people think though. They open up a free site, get you interested and then charge for personal gain in this investment. Some will probably pay but many have moved on to the next site to move in on. We are all hungry for answers and some of these sites out there know this. Why would someone pay every month in to something that the outcome is unknown? None of these people have the answers! Just their perspective on this investment and some guesses that people cling on to, only to get let down when the time comes and goes. We can get our information ourselves. Her momma is ill and she is with her for awhile and she is begging for people to help keep the posts up to date in her forum.
